COUNTY HOMEOWNERS URGED TO LODGE HIDDEN MONEY INTO BANKS

Homeowners in the county are being urged to lodge into the banks large amounts of money hidden at their homes.

Councillor Michael Fahy claims older people in particular are reluctant to lodge their money into financial institutions, as they fear their pension will be affected.

However he is advising people to put their money in the banks for safety.
