COUNTY COUNCIL URGED TO ADDRESS BALLINASLOE LITTER PROBLEM
Date Published: 21-May-2008
Ballinasloe is being urged to clean up its approach roads if its to make any progress on litter.
The town has not yet been judged ‘clean to European norms’ in the seven surveys carried out by Irish Business Against Litter.
Ballinasloe was classed as ‘moderately littered’ in last years IBAL litter league and the alliance is urging the town to aim for ‘litter free status’ this year.
