COUNTY COUNCIL UNDERSPENDS IN 2007 BUDGET

Millions of euro that were projected for work throughout the County in the County Council financial estimates for 2007 will not now be spent.

This came to light at a special meeting of the County Council yesterday evening at which the current financial situation was discussed.

The managers said that there were many reasons as to why the sums of money set out in this year’s County Council were not spent.
