COUNTY COUNCIL TO BUILD JUST FOUR HOMES IN CONNEMARA AND ARAN ISLANDS

Just four homes will be built in Connemara and the Aran Islands by Galway County Council this year.
This is the smallest number of social houses planned in the area for many years.
It comes against a background of a large increase in applications to the County Council.
