COUNTY COUNCIL’S HEDGE-CUTTING FUNDS SLASHED BY 60 PER CENT

Galway County Council will not have the money this year to cut back many overgrown hedges and bushes along the county’s roads.

It’s hedgecutting fund has been cut by 60 per cent.

Councillors were given the news yesterday during a debate about the state of roads in County Galway.
