COUNTY COUNCIL OWES ALMOST 108 MILLION IN LONG-TERM LOANS

Galway County Council owes nearly 108 million euro in long term loans.

The council has confirmed that it owed over 107 million 600 euro at the end of last year.

The local authority is itself also owed more than 48 million euro in long term loans, and approximately 28 million in commercial rates.
