COUNTY COUNCIL JOBS DISPUTE TO GET FULL HEARING

A dispute over job cuts at Galway County Council is to be referred for a full hearing at the Labour Court.

Council management and staff representatives participated in LRC conciliation talks in Mayo this week in a bid to resolve the situation.

However, no progess was made between both sides, but they have agreed to participate in the Labour Court hearing.
