COUNTY COUNCIL COMMITS TO SAFETY SIGNS IN CREGMORE

The County Council has committed to erect large electronic warning signs in Cregmore.

It follows an emergency meeting which took place in the wake of a recent crash involving a truck and 11 cars at Cregmore National School.

The V-M-S signs will alert drivers to the speed they’re travelling at through Cregmore.

A spokesperson for the County Council says they’ll be in place by the end of next week.
