COUNTY COUNCIL BEGINS GIVING EVIDENCE IN M17 HEARING

An oral hearing into the proposed M17 Galway [Rathmorrisey] to Tuam motorway, the M17, is underway in the city.

The road will cost 165 million euro while the motorway services area will cost 30 million.

The hearing, which is chaired by An Bord Pleanala, will hear evidence from Galway County Council and over 100 objectors over the coming days.
