COUNTY COUNCIL ADOPTS POLICY ON NEW SCREEBE ROAD

Galway County Council has now officially adopted a policy in favour of the development of a new road from Galway city to Screebe in west Connemara.

This is a major shift in the County Council’s stance on roads in west Galway.

Up to now the policy had been to bring a new road as far as Rosaveal but no further west.
