COUNCILLOR CALLS FOR ACTION ON TRAFFIC CHAOS AT CEANNT STATION

A city Councillor is calling for action on what she has labelled ‘traffic chaos’ at Ceannt station.

Cllr Nuala Nolan claims some taxis are parking illegally, causing difficulties for commuters and pedestrians.

She says the bus and train station should have facilities for commuters to be picked up but Galway is lacking such a facility.

A spokesperson for Ceannt station was unavailable for comment when contacted by Galway Bay fm news.

Cllr Nolan says a new system is badly needed to deal with the situation.
