COUNCIL VOTES ON PLAN TO REZONE CITY PARK

Plans have been set in motion to prevent houses for the elderly being built on part of a city park.

At a meeting of Galway City Council last night, almost all Councillors agreed to a proposed variation of the development plan in relation to Corrib Park.
