Galway County Council is investigating a case of illegal dumping of carcasses near Maam Cross

The Community Warden inspected a Coillte wood at Letterfore between Maam Cross and Oughterard earlier this week

The Community wardern discovered two deer carcasses, which were headless and a trailer of offal in the woods at Letterfore

The disposal of carcasses in such a manner is illegal and a spokesperson for Galway County Council says they are following a definite line of enquiry into the matter
