COUNCIL CREW TO RESTORE BALLINASLOE WATER BY EVENING

Water is not expected to be restored in Ballinasloe town until this evening.

If follows severe weather conditions overnight which caused a tree to fall breaking a major water main which feeds a large portion of the town network.

The main areas affected are from the Roscommon Road at Creagh junction to the Railway Bridge, including Parkmore Estate.

Galway County Council hope to restore supply by 6 this evening.
