COUNCIL ADOPTS MOYCULLEN LOCAL AREA PLAN
The Moycullen local area plan for 2013 to 2019 has been adopted by Galway County Council.
The 10 page managers report was debated at last months (March) meeting of the local authority where changes involving two of these submissions were made, contrary to the Manager’s recommendations.
One of these involved a change from agricultural to business/enterprise at an entrance alongside the N59.
The other approved proposal involved lands at Ballycuirke to be zoned agricultural, despite the manager’s recommendation that they should be reverted to open space, recreation and amenity.
Once finalised, the plan will be in place until 2019.
