Costello Lodge fails to sell at auction but sale negotations now underway
Costello Lodge in Casla Connemara, which was once owned by the chairman of the line that ran the Titanic has failed to sell at public auction
However negotiations on its sale are now underway following its withdrawal from the auction in the Imperial Hotel in the city last evening
Only one out of the nine properties on offer sold at auction but three have since been sold and negotations continue on others
The auction was held by DNG Maxwell, Heaslip and Leonard auctioneers
