Coroner to sum up evidence in Savita inquest
The inquest into the death of Savita Halappanavar is now entering what’s
expected to be its final day.
All evidence concluded yesterday and the judge will today read his summary
to the 11 person jury.
He will then charge them on the verdicts that may return, and it’s hoped a verdict will be reached by today.
Praveen Halappanavar returned to County Hall today after excusing himself from proceedings yesterday.
Speaking as he entered County Hall, he told a large gathering of media it’s been a difficult time and that today is the date of his wedding anniversary
