Corinthians had the perfect preparation for their Connacht derby at home to Buccaneers this coming Friday night when maintaining their 100% start to the season in Dungannon on Saturday afternoon.

Out-half Sean O’Hagan opened the scoring on Saturday afternoon when landing a penalty in the 20th minute, but the home side were back on level terms on the half-hour mark with a penalty of their own through Peter Nelson.

Dungannon then ran into a 13-3 lead, but Corinthians rallied and tries from James Connolly and Denis Buckley, as well as a penalty try – all of which were converted by O’Hagan – secured the win, and they can go top of the table this Friday night when they host Buccaneers (7.30pm).
