CONVICTED HEROIN ADDICT PLEAS FOR PRISON DRUG TREATMENT

A heroin addict who fled to England to get away from the drugs scene in Galway city has been jailed for nine months and banned from driving for four years.

25 year-old James Lynch of Two Mile Ditch, Castlegar, had tried to detox from heroin by himself while in England because he knew he would receive no help in prison here.
