CONTROVERSIAL SLUDGE PLANT FOR BALLINASLOE TURNED DOWN

Ballinasloe Town Council has refused planning permission for a controversial sludge intake and processing building at Poolboy, adjacent to the Premier Proteins factory.

Planning was refused to One-Bio Limited on four grounds.

31 objections against the development had been lodged with the Town Council.
