CONTRACT SIGNED FOR 16 MILLION EURO COUNTY WATER SCHEMES PROJECT

15 group water schemes across the county are to get new water treatment plants in a bid to improve their water quality.

The county council has signed a contract with Glan Agua Ltd for 16.5 million euro to build the water treatment plants.

Work on the new facilities will begin this year and will be operational within 12 months.
