CONTINUING BAIL REMAND FOR MEN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH GANGLAND CRIME IN GALWAY

Two men arrested in connection with gangland crime in Galway have been remanded on continuing bail.

29 year old Paul Black of Corrach Buí, Rahoon and 20 year old Mark Dowling of 58 Castlepark, Ballybane are among 12 men charged in connection with the ‘Operation Foolscap’ crackdown on organised crime here.

Judge Fahy agreed to extend the time for service of Black’s book of evidence and remanded him on continuing bail to Galway District Court on October the 4th for DPP’s directions.

Judge Fahy also remanded Dowling on continuing High Court bail to Galway District Court on October the 4th for DPP’s directions and service of the book of evidence against him.
