CONSTRUCTION OF CLAREGALWAY ROAD TO BEGIN NEXT YEAR

Construction of the Claregalway Inner Relief Road could begin as early as next year.

That’s according to Galway West TD Noel Grealish.

RPS Consulting Engineers have been appointed to provide engineering services.

The role of the engineers is to complete route selection and route design as well as get it ready for planning.

Deputy Noel Grealish says the inner relief road will help relieve motorists while the new M17 is being built.
