CONNEMARA DELEGATION TO HOLD MEETING IN BRUSSELS

Galway West Fianna Fail TD Eamon O’ Cuív has organised a meeting in Brussels next month to discuss environmental designations with European Commission officials.

The difficulties associated with developments in designated areas, the route for the proposed new Connemara road, and septic tank standards will be on the agenda.

Public representatives from Connemara have been invited to attend, but only on the condition they pay for the trip themselves.

Councillor Seosamh O’ Cuaig has already confirmed he will be going.
