Connacht seek another bonus point success
Date Published: 12-Dec-2008
CONNACHT coach Michael Bradley has made two changes to the side that earned a bonus point victory against Rovigo on Saturday as his charges go in search of maximum points again against the same opposition in the European Challenge Cup at the Sportsground tonight (Friday, 6.30pm). Flanker Johnny O’Connor, who picked up a calf injury in last weekend’s 35-20 win away to the Italian outfit, has lost his fitness battle and is replaced in the backrow by David Gannon.
Centre Keith Matthews, who also picked up a knock in Stadio Battaglini and who was an injury concern all week, has passed a fitness test and is included in the starting 15 as is Adrian Flavin who starts at hooker.
