CONFIRMATION COUNTY COUNCIL NOW EXEMPT FROM FINANCIAL PENALTY FOR HOUSEHOLD CHARGE

Over 66% of householders in County Galway have now paid the ‘Household Charge’.

As a result of this level of compliance the Council will not suffer any other financial penalties from central Government this year.

That was the message from council officials to this week’s county council meeting.
