Condemned prefabs at Oughterard secondary school to be replaced
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Two condemned prefabs at St. Paul’s secondary school in Oughterard are to be replaced.
Galway West Senator Trevor O’Clochartaigh raised the issue in the Seanad where called for appropriate accommodation to be put in place.
Speaking on behalf of the Education Minister, Minister of State Sean Sherlock said the application has been examined by the Department.
He added that approval has now been granted to replace the prefab with a permanent structure.
