Concerns over rogue tradesmen in East Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom – There are concerns over rogue tradesmen operating in East Galway.

The joint policing committee meeting in Loughrea has been told an elderly woman was persauded to withdraw €3000 in cash and hand it over to an unknown workman.

Superintendent Enda Walsh said visiting tradesmen were preying on the elderly promising to do work and on receiving cash, never returned.
