CONCERN OVER PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS ON DUBLIN ROAD AT BALLINASLOE

Motorists travelling on the main N6 will have to contend with at least 3 sets of pedestrian controlled crossings and a standard set of traffic lights in Ballinasloe

The monthly meeting of the town council also learned that a further 3 flashing beacon crossings are being installed on the main thoroughfare

However, concerns have been raised over the location of some of these crossings, and the road design team at Galway County Council has undertaken to review them
