Concern over out-of-town charity collectors in Loughrea

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Elderly people are being unduly inconvenienced in Loughrea by out-of-town charity collectors.

That’s according to Cllr Michael Mogie Maher who was speaking at a meeting of the town’s Joint Policing Committee this week.

Cllr Maher said that up to 18 different collectors could be seen on any one day outside the post office and banks on Main Street.
