CONCERN OVER DANGEROUS DIVING BOARD IN LOUGHREA

The delay in repairing a dangerous diving board at Long Point in Loughrea could have effect the number of bathers using the swimming facilities there this summer.

This weeks meeting of Loughrea town council was told that no funding had been approved for work on the diving board despite it being reported as defective over 18 months ago.
