Company which issues city parking tickets reports profit

The company which operates on-street parking enforcement for Galway City Council made a pre-tax profit of 190 thousand euro in 2012.

Apcoa Parking Ireland Limited issues parking tickets for nine local authorities across the country.

According to today’s Irish Times, the company collects more than 5 million euro per annum issuing around 90 thousand tickets.

While pre-tax profits in 2012 were 190 thousand euro, accumulated profits for the year were 3.4 million euro.
