COMMUNITY LIVING EXPERT TO DELIVER LECTURE IN CITY

Ireland has made significant progress in developing innovation in services for people with disabilities.

That’s according to renowned community living pioneer Michael Kendrick who is to deliver a public lecture in the city this evening [Apr 19].

The talk entitled "Living Real Lives in the Community will focus on innnovation in services for people with disabilities and lessons for families and older persons.

The event takes place at room AC201 in NUI Galway from 7 until 9 this evening.

Speaking to Galway bay fm news, Dr. Michael Kenrick says goverment policy and a move towards better practice are both positive developments in Ireland
