Galway’s two academic institutes are so linked with the medical industry there’s a ‘natural jobs home’ here for many students.

That’s according to eu commissioner Maire Geoghegan Quinn.

She made her comments to galway bay fm news as she officially opened the sea2sky science research festival at the Galway Bay Hotel this afternoon.
