CLYBAUN NURSING HOME CLEARS PLANNING HURDLE

Plans for a four-storey 75-bed nursing home in a city suburb have cleared a final planning hurdle.

An Bord Pleanála has overruled the city council and allowed permission for the nursing home on the Clybaun Road to be four storeys high, not three.

City planners had last year ordered that the second floor of the development be omitted.
