CLLR BILLY CAMERON SAYS CITY VANDALS ARE OUT OF CONTROL

City Councillor Billy Cameron has condemned the growing number of graffiti incidents in Galway and says that CCTV cameras are needed to fight back.

The West ward councillor says that vandals recently reached a new low with the decimation of the beautiful work of art in the Children’s Millennium Park.

“Iontas” which was a gift to the city from the children’s arts festival Baboro was unveiled just one year ago.

Cllr. Cameron says that the Children’s Millennium park is now just one of many places reduced to an unsightly mess thanks to thoughtless vandalism.
