CLAYTON HOTEL BALLYBRIT TAKEN OVER BY CHAIN

The Four star Clayton Hotel in the city is under new management.

Maldron Hotels Ireland has taken over the running of the hotel from John Glynn.

The Clayton Hotel was originally opened in 2006 and traded as a John Glynn hotel, who ran the well-known CityWest hotel in Dublin.

Chief Executive Pat McCann confirmed to Galway Bay FM News that his group is now operating the Clayton Hotel under a management contract.

He said the Hotel at Ballybrit will not be re-branded and will remain as the Clayton Hotel.
