CLARENBRIDGE MAN PLANS WALKWAY OF FAMOUS IRISH FOR DUBLIN

Young Clarenbridge social entrepeneur Adrian Bannon is proposing a ‘Shamrocks of Success’ walkway of famous and successful Irish people in Dublin’s O’Connell Street.

Adrian plans this as a tourism and jobs initiative to co-incide with ‘The Gathering’ and the All-Ireland GAA finals next September.

He says an annual awards ceremony, each St Patrick’s weekend, could also raise funds to be dispersed among young entrepeneurs and groups all over Ireland.

Adrian Bannon proposes to use social media, plus an expert panel, to select the names to appear on Ireland’s shamrock walkway.
