THE annual Claregalway Agricultural Show is celebrating its 20th anniversary today (Sunday).

The event takes place in Duffy’s Equestrian Centre, Rockwood, Claregalway and this year there are almost 250 classes in categories ranging from horses and ponies to a pet show and arts and crafts.

This year the show has added a bay mare class in the Connemara Pony Classes and a half-bred mare class in the horse section.

The agility class for dogs, introduced to the show a few years ago, continues to be a big attraction.
