Claregalway resident Dana allegedly sought treatment for accused brother

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A court has heard that Claregalway resident, Dana Rosemary Scallon said her brother, who is accused of indecent assault, was ‘cured’ after going to see a priest.
John Brown who lives in Berkshire England denies 5 counts of indecent assault on two children in 1970s.
At his trial in England yesterday, the court heard that Ms. Scallon, who was a presidential election candidate in 2011, arranged treatment for her brother following an allegation in the 70s.
He was a member of her election team during the 2011 campaign, at which point Dana also publicly stated that the allegations were ‘lies’.
