CLAREGALWAY GROUP TO MEET EDUCATION MINISTER ABOUT SECONDARY SCHOOL

A campaign group, hoping to build a new secondary school in Claregalway, is holding talks with the Minister for Education this afternoon.(20/07)

County Galway VEC has offered to give patronage to the school, and it’s understood around 65 students are already interested in starting first year.

The school would be located at the corporate park in Claregalway, and would take in students from built up areas such as Claregalway, Oranmore and Athenry.
