CLAIMS OF SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS ON CLAREGALWAY BY PASS

Two Oireachtas members are claiming there has been very significant progress in getting a by-pass for Claregalway

For the first time ever in the long drawn out campaign the proposal documents for the by-pass have been sent to the Department of Transport

This move comes just weeks after the National Roads Authority categorically stated it would NOT be building a by-pass of Claregalway village as it’s concentrating on the Tuam motorway

However local TD Noel Grealish, insists the by-pass can be built without the approval of the N.R.A., even though it involves a national road
