CLAIMS GALWAY HOMES POORLY INSULATED

Two thirds of Galway homes are poorly insulated and energy inefficient, according to a renewable energy assocation.

The Renewable Energy Skills Accel Project claims that thousands of householders are wasting hundreds on heating poorly insulated homes.

The association is calling on the government to give grant aid to owners of houses built before the 1997 building regulations to improve energy efficiency.
