CIVIL CASE AGAINST SENATOR HEALY EAMES RE OPENS

A civil case being brought against Senator Fidelma Healy Eames and her husband, Michael Eames, for alleged non-payment for work carried out at their home over two years ago is continuing this afternoon.

Oranmore tradesman, Michael Allen is suing the couple over plumbing work carried out at an extension to their home in Maree, Oranmore.

Mr Allen first took the civil action against Senator Healy-Eames and her husband in June 2010.

The hearing continues before Judge Rory McCabe at Galway Civil Circuit Court this afternoon.
