City’s newest secondary school to open to students

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The city’s newest secondary school is welcome students for the first time this morning.

Merlin College officially opened its doors to first years at its temporary accommodation in Woodlands, Renmore.

The project at a site in Doughiska is a public private partnership and is due to be completed by spring next year.

The permanent school will cater for up to 700 secondary school students.
