CITYLINK REDUCES GALWAY TO SHANNON SERVICES

Citylink bus company has drastically cut its Galway to Shannon airport bus services.

In a statement to Galway Bay FM News, the bus firm says it’s reducing their departures from the city to Shannon airport to just 6 services daily.

The company had been running 14 daily services to Shannon.

A spokesperson said passenger numbers through Shannon airport had dropped by 12 per cent in the last year and with further declines expected, it was no longer viable to continue operating 14 services.
