CITY WOMAN TO FACE TRIAL IN SOUTH AMERICA FOR ALLEGED DRUG SMUGGLING

The Galway city woman imprisoned in South America over alleged drug smuggling will go on trial next Tuesday.

23 year old Nicola Black was arrested in the Republic of Suriname almost three months ago.

Her mother lives on Bishop O’Donnell Road and her 26 year old sister Una Black is currently in custody awaiting sentencing for the manslaughter of Offaly native John Malone in Mervue in 2006
