CITY WATER REPAIR WORKS TO TAKE SOME TIME

Galway city council has said replacement work on lead water pipes in Old Mervue won’t be done quickly.

In a statement issued this morning, the council described the needed repairs as “a significant body of work that will need to be undertaken over a considerable length of time”.
