City to host discussion on cost to economy of illicit trade

A discussion on the cost to the economy of illicit trade will be held in Galway tomorrow.

The discussion, which is entitled “Illicit Trade in Ireland: Uncovering the cost to the Irish Economy” is being held in Radisson Blu hotel and registration begins at 8am.

Grant Thornton is organising the event and partner Brendan Forster feels the public must alter its perception of illicit trade being a victimless crime.
