CITY TEENAGERS GET FOUR YEARS IN PRISON FOR ARSON

Two teenagers have been sentenced to four years in prison today for setting fire to a HSE house in which five people were sleeping.

19 year-old Josephine Mongan of 24 Gaelcarrig Park, Westside, Galway, and a 17 year old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty at Galway Circuit Criminal Court to setting fire to the home for troubled teenagers in care at Aras Gael, Whitestrand Avenue, Salthill, on May 18.
